The Pirate in Nottingham [2]
In July 2019, Nottingham Trent International College told us to make a trip and do a presentation. It was an exciting and interesting activity. In this project, I was a team leader. We planed our trip and theme on the first day. The theme was "Pirate" because we were a new student who had not known this place and we wanted to explore this city like a pirate. After that, our group decided to went to the Robin Hood Festival and Food Festival in Nottingham. It was a famous festival that we learnt about new experiences and the traditional culture of England.

Moreover, I recorded video and took pictures because I thought the video made our presentation more interesting. I used creative skill to make a video and PowerPoint. It was challenging for me because we had only one week to do all of the processes. I used my best skills to manage a production schedule. At this event, I got a lot of new friends and they became my close friends. The excellent communication of mine created a friendly environment when people worked with me.
Applied Learning Week project
The film promotes Nottingham Trent International College.

The Best Video To Promote Nottingham
After I arrived in the UK, I did not have much time to make a film. I was missing that time so much. Luckily, my college told us to make the video for promoting our course and school in Applied Learning Week. So, I volunteered myself to be a leader because no one has produced a film or video before. It was challenging for me to organise and explain the film process to people who have never created a film. My great communication skill allowed training my peers. Moreover, the leadership skill was shown when I made decisions. Fortunately, my great team members always supported me during that week. In final, our movie got the award "The Best Video To Promote Nottingham".
The best city video award 2020
February 2020 was the month that my college had a competition, within and across ten colleges. I sent my video to this competition. The concept of videos was student life. We won the competition.
Assignment in master course
This short film was one of the assignments in my master course. I produced it when we had Covid-19 pandemic and a lockdown situation. I had to create a movie within the limited number of workers and production location. I used a lot of equipment to achieve this project. I have learned how to set the lights, control the tripod, and also, act. My time management had to be worked well because I had one and a half month in a lockdown situation and I did quite well.
The main character represented an international student who was studying in the UK when COVID-19 hit. She found a happy way to deal with a difficult period.
